30 Seconds to Mars Shoots Thru Chicago for Taste of Chaos Tour

By Randy J. Klodz

Alternative-rock band 30 Seconds to Mars returns to Chicago as part of the annual Taste of Chaos Tour. This time around, the band will perform at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on March 16.

Led by singer/guitarist—and famous actor—Jared Leto, along with Tomo Milicevic (guitar) and Shannon Leto (drums), rock band 30 Seconds to Mars has been hitting the road with a vengeance in support of the band’s second major-label effort “A Beautiful Lie” which hit stores in 2005.

As a band built on constant touring, not the fame of its lead singer, 30 Seconds to Mars has hit high on the radio charts with “A Beautiful Lie” songs like “Attack,” “From Yesterday” and “The Kill.”

Aside from a headlining performance by 30 Seconds to Mars, as part of this year’s installment of the Taste of Chaos Tour, fans can expect to be treated to a full-out concert event featuring bands The Used, Aiden, Chiodos, Evaline, Saosin and Senses Fail. Also, those attending the Taste of Chaos Tour should expect to have the chance to try out various interactive kiosks. In previous years, including last year, video game consoles or often on display for fans to play the latest titles.

Aragon Ballroom is at 1106 W. Lawrence Ave. Tickets for this all-ages show are listed for $30 each with showtime slated for 5 p.m. For more information on 30 Seconds to Mars and the Taste of Chaos tour log on to and
