Beastie Boys: Two Chicago Shows

The illustrious career of hip-hop heavyweights the Beastie Boys continues
to grow with each passing album and each sold-out tour. The Beastie Boys are
prepared to return to the road with two Chicago performances scheduled to
take place Sept. 26 at Riviera Theatre and Sept. 27 at Charter One Pavilion.
The Beastie Boys—which includes Michael “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “Ad-Rock”
Horovitz and Adam “MCA” Yauch—has been thrilling fans of all forms of
music with the group’s stylish blend of punk, hip-hop, rap and other genre-bending
elements since the mid-80s.
With dozens of hit songs, two Grammy wins, and over 40 million albums sold,
the Beastie Boys has caught the ears and eyes of millions of fans worldwide
with hit songs like “Body Movin’,” “Brass Monkey,” “Ch-Check It Out,” “Hey
Ladies,” “Intergalactic,” “Sabotage,” “Sure Shot” and many others.
Now on tour in support of the group’s latest release, “The Mix-Up,” which
is completely instrumental and hit stores in June, the Boys return to the
road to bring the new music to the fans.
Riviera Theater is at 4750 N. Broadway in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
Tickets for what is billed as an all-ages “exclusive instrumental show” are
listed for $50 each with showtime slated for 7:30 p.m. Charter One Pavilion
is at 1300 S. Linn White Dr. near Solider Field. Tickets for this all-ages
show are listed for $45 each with show start scheduled for 7:30 p.m. For more
