Common Returns Home for Four House of Blues Shows

Chicago-native rapper and hip-hop star Common has steadily climbed the charts
with his numerous singles and accolades in which his has earned along the
way. Common is prepared to invade House of Blues for four shows: Two on Feb.
27 and one show each on Feb. 28 and March 1.
Common is on tour in support of his latest release “Be” which hit stores
last May. Songs like “The Corner,” “Go!” and “Testify” have helped the album
amass Gold certification with sales of over 500,000 nationwide.
Common turned heads with the 2000 album “Like Water for Chocolate” which
featured the song “The Light” and his 2002 release “Electric Circus” also
helped build a steady stream of fans with the hit “Come Close.”
House of Blues is at 329 N. Dearborn St. Tickets each of the four shows are
listed for $34.50 each. Each show aside from the 6 p.m. Feb. 27 show are 18+.
Also check out Common on TV’s 37th Annual NAACP Image Awards on
March 3 where he’s nominated for two awards including Outstanding Male Artist
