Fall Out Boy Returns Home to Play Aragon Ballroom
for Twisted 12
By Randy J. Klodz
Hailing from the suburban Chicago, Fall Out Boy has found itself one
of today’s most popular pop-punk acts on the scene. With frequent radio spins
and video plays on MTV and other media outlets, the Fall Out Boy roller coaster
is just taking off. Fall Out Boy returns home on tour for a Dec. 18 date at
Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom as the third and final date of Q101’s Twisted 12.
Fall Out Boy—which includes Patrick Stump (vocals, guitar), Joe
Trohman (guitar), Pete Wentz (bass) and Andy Hurley (drums)—has turned
heads with the hook-laden album “From Under the Cork Tree.”
Fall Out Boy singles such as “Dance, Dance” and “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down”
have received the most attention and have helped pave the way for the current
wave of success for Fall Out Boy.
Fall Out Boy’s sound is versatile as has elements of alternative rock,
pop, and punk music. Fans of Fall Out Boy most often enjoy the music of other
reputable bands like blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41 and several others.
With the success of “From Under the Cork Tree” and constant touring,
Fall Out Boy is poised to start its own legacy.
Aragon Ballroom is at 1106 W. Lawrence Ave. Tickets for this all-ages
show are listed for $29.75 each. Other bands scheduled to perform include
Coheed & Cambria and All American Rejects. For more info on Fall Out Boy
