Office Ready to Rock Chicago’s Metro
By Randy J. Klodz
Odds are good, a live concert experience provided by Chicago-based quintet
Office, is sure to thrill much more than, well, a trip to the office. Office
is scheduled to perform Dec. 21 at Chicago’s Metro.
Office—which includes Scott Masson (vocals), Tom Smith (guitars, vocals),
Alissa Noonan (bass), Erica Corniel (drums, vocals) and Jessica Gonyea (synth,
vocals)—is on tour in support of its latest release “A Night at the
Ritz” which hit stores in September.
The band’s bouncy pop sound has been praised by countless music publications
such as “Magnet” and “Urb Magazine” and has been aired on ABC as well as multiple
MTV outlets including “MTV News.”
On “A Night at the Ritz” songs like “Company Calls,” “Oh My,” “Paralyzed
Prince,” “Q&A” and “Suburban Perfume” not only display the band’s clever
song-naming ability, but each track thrills with catchy hooks and bouncy rhythms.
Metro is at 3730 N. Clark St. near Wrigley Field. Tickets for this 18+ show
are listed for $9 each with showtime slated for 9 p.m. Rock bands Mannequin
Men, The 1900’s and The Narrator are also scheduled to perform. For more info
